DMCI Holdings wins Platinum Anvil Awards ; SMPC wins Gold Anvil Award
DMCI Holdings won one of the four Platinum Anvils in the 53rd Anvil Awards of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines ( PRSP ) for its 2016 .Integrated Annual Report ( ” Delivering Real Benefits ” ) . The Platinum Anvil is given to the entry with the highest score in its category .
Aside from disclosing material information about the financial , non-financial and corporate governance performance of DMCI Holdings ,Delivering Real Benefits featured the different faces behind the DMCI companies to honor the hard work and contributions of its employees.
DMCI Holdings also won two Gold Anvil Awards for Delivering Real Benefits and the Hard Hat Newsletter Special Tribute issue for DMCI group founding chairman David M. Consunji , as well as a Silver Anvil Award for the Hard Hat Newsletter .
Semirara Mining and Power Corporation and likewise won two Gold Anvil Awards for its 2016 Integrated Annual Report ( ”Creating Shared Benefits ” ) and Code of Conduct and Business Ethics ( ”Code”). Click to read stories :
Through Creating Shared Benefits ,SMPC was able to connect its company success with social progress, generating economic value in a way that also produces value for society and host communities by addressing its challenges .
Meanwhile ,the SMPC Code was recognize by improving awareness, knowledge and understanding of the company’s core value and principles using guides, tips, questions , and answer proportion , etc.
The Anvil Award is considered as the Oscars of public relations in the country . Winners are determined through a stringent screening process by select public relations professionals and a distinguished multi-sectoral jury.
This year, PRSP received a record breaking 450 entries , 10 percent higher than the 404 entries submitted in 2017
